The Poco F4 is yet another great value proposition, with a large OLED screen, Snapdragon 870, and solid cameras for around $410. It’s rumored to be a rebranded Redmi Note 12 Turbo which Xiaomi launched exclusively in China. Xiaomi has released MIUI 10 Global Beta ROM for the Xiaomi Poco F1. The Xiaomi Pocophone F1 shipped with Android 8.1 Oreo but a spokesperson says that it will «at least» receive an update to both Android Pie and Android Q.

This guide talks about using Recovery ROMs to update a device. Take note that Open GApps does not provide you with any license for Google’s APKs included in the package. The Open GApps packages merely provide a convenient way to sideload APKs to your device. It is your own responsibility to obtain the proper permissions by e.g. buying an OHA-licensed device with pre-installed Google Apps and/or acquiring the applications from Google’s Play Store.

Like most of the newer devices, it also features a dual camera setup on the back (12 + 5 MP). In my experience with this ROM, the battery life was just the same as the stock ROM, but I was able to customize a few things here and there. To put it into better words, think of LineageOS, but with added features and tweaks. Not to mention, the huge list of device support– both new and old. Imagine being on your device’s stock ROM, but with slight tweaks here and there that allow you to customize your device without losing out on the Stock stability. CrDroid has been around for some time and it has gained huge popularity among stock Android enthusiasts.

  • Along with the phone, POCO has also launched its first smartwatch https://www.bertheguilhem.com/the-ultimate-guide-to-samsung-sm-p600-firmware/ — the POCO Watch — and the POCO Buds Pro Genshin Impact Edition TWS earbuds.
  • Remember to include at minimum the Open GApps installer debug log and if applicable a logcat.
  • If you feel you are limited with Hardware, Trust me, 6/8 GB RAM is more than enough for Heavy usage.

If boot takes longer than usual after setting a new fingerprint or a custom prop, try changing the boot stage to post-fs-data. If you suddenly can’t find some apps, or that you aren’t offered the latest version of an app, it might be because of having changed the device fingerprint. This module can usually only really help with the ctsProfile check, by spoofing the device fingerprint. If you can’t pass basicIntegrity, there’s probably something else going on with your device, but there is a possibility that changing the device fingerprint can make this pass as well. If you can’t get things working, see «Miscellaneous MagiskHide issues» above. A common reason for issues with booting the device or with system apps force closing, etc, is having enabled Device simulation. This feature is not needed for passing SafetyNet’s CTS profile check.
